In the roster in USCHO, the last school for Courtney Kennedy is listed as
"Colby College" which I presume means she is one of the players who played
under the coach at Colby and moved with him when he came to Minnesota.  The
rest of the roster is mostly Minnesota, but there are a few from elsewhere,
including Michigan, Alaska, and Wisconsin plus the ones you mention.  Seems
like a healthy mix to me; still a showcase for Minnesota hockey, but not a
rigid formula.
