I only just started sending the UAF boxes this season courtesy of the
University of Alaska Fairbanks Department of Athletics and their sports
information director, Scott Roselius. I sent penalties with times to
Info-Hockey-L and US College Hockey Online cut them out or received the
box from a different source. We also have the players for the game and
underlined starters. On Saturday I sent them on Friday I didn't. At
least last year the CCHA boxes at their web site only included goal
information.

Part of the problem from my experience the first weekend is that unless
you get the copy directly from the press box at the game, it might not
be very good. The Friday copy I got was okay, but the far left side
didn't copy on the fax. Saturday the faxed copy from Anchorage had a
huge one inch white gap running down the left hand side of the paper
which basically erased all the goal information. I had the fax within
10 minutes of the end of the game, but couldn't get all the missing
information until the next day. Also if you don't receive the fax
directly on your computer or don't have a good scanner, you may be faced
with a lot of corrections and typing. I know I made several mistakes on
the ones I posted this weekend mistyping the periods when I sent them
out. They were all in the right order with the correct time, but I left
a two where there should have been a three. I fix the mistakes on the
web site, but don't normally send out a correction.

I believe if they aren't already, that many schools would be willing to
put US College Hockey Online on the fax list for the boxes. I believe
ours are already sent directly to all the local media respresentatives,
the USA Today, and to me for the UAF ice hockey web site.
