Summary:
 
Union earned a 2-2 tie with Princeton on Sunday night.  The story of
the game for the Dutchmen was the play of Senior goaltender Luigi
Villa, who made 30 saves, including all 16 shots he faced in the
second period.  Villa may well have earned himself a more regular spot
in the goalie rotation, which featured only Senior Mike Gallant and
Freshman Trevor Koenig in league games up to this point.  Since I
didn't see or hear this one, I can't add much more.
 
So the Dutchmen close out the pre-Christmas schedule at 1-3-2 in the
ECAC, and 4-4-2 overall.  Union's next games will be their first-ever
western road trip with 2 games at Minnesota-Duluth on December 28 and
29.
