Michigan Tech       5 at Minnesota           6  (Minn. wins series 2-0)
Colorado College    3 at Northern Michigan   6  (NMU wins series 2-0)
St. Cloud State     2 at North Dakota       10  (series tied 1-1)
Minnesota-Duluth    1 at Wisconsin           5  (Wis. leads series 1-0)
 
All quarterfinal series are best-of-three.  Winners advance to the WCHA
tournament in St. Paul, March 10-11.
 
Michigan Tech played another tough game against the Gophers in Mariucci
Arena tonight, but came away on the short end of the score.  Minnesota
led by 6-3 late in the second period, but the Huskies managed to come
back to within one.  The Gophers withstood a fierce Tech attack in the
final seconds to win the game and sweep the series.
