Well, I may have seen a different game than everyone who was at Meehan.
I talked with a friend of mine today, who said that he thought that
Brown looked dynamite. I still don't agree. After having read the post
about Harvard and UNB, I wish that I had attended the game to get a good
look at what the Bruins will be facing this Saturday.

I still say that the UNB goalie was a "stand-up" goalie, sepecially if we
are going to compare him to Mr Parsons, whom I watched from directly above
fro an entire period. My friend and I however did agree that the UNB
goalie was phenomenal - he made one INCREDIBLE glove save that was surely
headed for the upper right corner past his ear (one of the HARDEST places
to make a stop). Compare the number of shots the UNB allowed - 53 - with
the number of shots that the Bruins did - 23 - and I would have to say that
It was definitely the UNB goalie who was NOT at fault. I would hope that
any team that got 53 shots on goal would score a little more often. I also
don't remember ANY goals that went up hi, except one from the right point
in the second period that was severly screened.

I was at home in Michigan all last year, so i guess maybe I am used to
watching UM, MSU, MTU, NMU, LSSU, ND etc. But I saw NO speed demons for
Brown. All of the exciting guys that I used to watch here have ALL graduated,
except for my favorite player - #15 Eric Trach. He is a small center, listed
at 5-9 (I've stood next to him and say they must have measured him with his
skates on). He just goes for the puck, sticks his nose in the corners, can
carry the puck, has great ice sense, and rearely makes mistakes. He makes
things happen.

I guess after the Harvard game, we will know a little more about the Bruins
quality.
