That rational and argument worked well in the 1980's but it wont work and
probably won't be instated in the Lucia area. In fact I know from reading
the Fire Woog string in the STRIB web board and listening on the Web boards,
there are a lot of Gopher fans that would do away with that mentality to win
a national title or return even to respectability, seems like the majority
of fans are tired of being second fiddle. Almost a sell your collective soul
to win a national title mentality. I agree with a previous poster this is
getting to be ad nausium.  But what else is there to talk about.
