To the delight of our opponents, University of Alaska (UAA) freshman goal
tender, Gregg Naumenko, will sign with the Mighty Ducks for between 1.15 to
2 million dollars with a signing bonus of at least $1 million. He will
remain in school through the spring semester and report to the Ducks
organization beginning next fall.
 
Gregg was the WCHA  Rookie of the Year, on the all Rookie Team, member of
the WCHA 1st Team, 1st in the WCHA for save percentage and goals against,
and sixth in the nation for goals against.
