It's not an NCAA record... Ken Dryden had 13 when he was with Cornell (1966-69),
as did Gerry Powers with Denver (also 1966-69).  I think Jack Ferreira, who was
with BU a couple of years before Dryden and Powers, also had 13.
 
The most shutouts in a career is listed as 16, by Clarkson's Wally Easton
(1927-31).
