Yesterday's (9/10/96) St. Paul Pioneer Press reports that Minnesota has
received oral commitments from 3 recruits for the 1997 season.
Duluth East defenseman Dylan Mills, Apple Valley  center Erik Westrum and
Rochester Mayo wing Matt Leimbeck are expected to sign during the November
early signing period.
 
The Gophers are also reportedly interested in Grand Rapids forward Aaron
Miskovich, who will play for Green Bay in the USHL this year.
(It'll be good to get another Grand Rapids, MN kid in college hockey, so we
can watch how many times he's refered to as being from Grand Rapids, MI!
