In response to Mr. Haeussler's comment on ACHA not comparing to NCAA lower
teams:
I have seen NCAA games. And I don't agree that ACHA is at a lower level
compared to NCAA lower div. ACHA clubs carry out tecnique and style. Example;
OHIO. Their team works together and they use their tecnique. Many NCAA teams
don't. They are more involved with attacking and scoring that they ignore
team play, offensive tecniques.
I am starting to see Hockey as a form of art instead of a sport. SKill is
important but so is tecnique. And I have seen it in all hockey teams.
And it is not fair that ACHA clubs are not respected as NCAA. I too believe
that the ACHA clubs like U of ARIZ, OHIO, and COLORADO (and others) could
take on any NCAA team. Perhaps someday a school will hold an invitational or
a match between the different div. Wouldn't that be a blast.
