In the vein of fish on the ice.......
 
 
A guy was drilling a hole in the ice, in preparation for going ice
fishing, when suddenly a very loud voice proclaimed "THERE ARE NO FISH
UNDER THE ICE."  The fellow looked around, but not seeing anyone
around, continued drilling.  Again, a loud voice proclaimed "DO NOT
DRILL THERE.  THERE ARE NO FISH UNDER THE ICE."  He looked around
nervously, but still there was nobody to be seen, so he continued
drilling.  Finally, the same loud voice proclaimed "THIS IS THE RINK
MANAGER.  THERE ARE NO FISH UNDER THE ICE."
