The only hockey games I've seen at the Boston Garden were the 1985 ECAC playoffs.
My seat was directly behind the goal judge.  Because the seats went all the way
to the ice, I had a perfect view of the goalie -- and for two periods of each
of the RPI games, that goalie was Darren Puppa.  Going into the tournament, I
was already thoroughly impressed with Puppa's skills, but I left the tournament
in awe of his finesse as he stopped almost everything.  I really enjoyed being
that close to the action and I hope the new Fleet Center will provide similar
memories for fans.
