You're inferring all of this from one win by a AH team over an ECAC
Team? So far this season the AHA has gone 1-8-2 against the ECAC. By
comparison, they are 1-9-1 against Hockey East. Clearly the day can't
be far off when Atlantic Hockey will also be beating up on HE on a
regular basis
Some more blather-look at the scores and rosters and trends. Look past a
frozen Cayuga and see the new face of college hockey. See UVM move up to elite
league as ECAC hockey becomes what is called a mid to low major conference in
hoops. See who is getting the studs and who is getting the duds. Look at the
crowds UNO draws and go to a Union game and see the difference in atmosphere.
There will be an eastern realignment and those schools that want to be "big time"
will be Hockey East and this new NCAA regulations may weed out some of the
weak sisters in Hockey East. The trend started and generated by football will
seep into every sport whether we like it or not.
