WOLF AND BAUDE EARN ECAC HONORS
A pair of Lady Black Bears were honored by the ECAC Monday for their
outstanding performances this past weekend. Raffi Wolf (Voerde,
Germany) was named ECAC/LOUISVILLE PLAYER OF THE WEEK for her
eight-point weekend vs. Colby College. Wolf, had a 3-1--4 line against
the White Mules on Saturday evening, and followed it up with a
dominating four-goal performance Sunday afternoon. Wolf now ranks 5th
in the ECAC in goals.
Collen Baude (Chatham, NJ) also put together an eight-point weekend and
earned ECAC LOUISVILLE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK honors. Baude had a goal and
an assist Saturday and then added a goal and four assists for five
points on Sunday.
Also of note was the performance of Amanda Cronin in goal. The
freshmen netminder from York, Maine posted 120 minutes of shutout
hockey stopping 11 shots on Saturday and 8 on Sunday.
Maine (9-11-1) returns to action Friday and Saturday night at home
against Dartmouth (10-6-4). Admission is free.
