Hi Ralph, Chris Addesa played for Wisconsin, but not very often. I
don't remember hearing that he transferred, but it's possible.
I'm not sure about Chelios either. I know Chris Chelios has a brother
who lives here in Madison, but I don't know much more than that.

Subject: Will wonders never cease
I just received my copy of the College Hockey Guide in the mail
yesterday.
Like several others, I decided to buy a copy when Drop the Puck
folded.
This would be a very useful and interesting publication if it had
been
issued early in the season -- now I will just put it on the shelf.
Apparently, its main purpose is to help prospective student athletes
choose a school. It contains data on Div 1, Div 2, Div 3, as well as
club teams and women's teams. I suppose that a student who intends
to
matriculate a year from now will find the time of issue suitable --
but
it is very stale data.
It was interesting to read all of the preseason predictions from a
year ago.
I note that in the back if mentions that the 97-98 issue will be
issued in
November 1997. I don't think that I will hold my breath.
A couple of questions that someone might know the answer to gathered
from
looking at the rosters of all of the teams that were listed.
1) There is a Chris Chelios listed as playing for UW-Superior. Is he
related to the former Badger? Too old to be his son, perhaps a
cousin.
2) I note that former RPI coach Mike Addesa's son Chris is listed for
both
Wisconsin and Amherst. Where, if at all, did he play this year? I
never
saw him on game reports for Wisconsin.
