The answer, I think, is greed. I know that the cost for me as a home dish
owner to get a weekly English soccer game is $1200 for one season (and I
did not type in an extra zero.) This is why I spend $10 to go to a bar on
Saturdays (sometimes) to see it. I can't help but think that they would
make more money with a lower fee which many more people would pay.
Anyway, trying to apply logic to problems like this doesn't always work.
