Regarding my earlier post on the CCHA/WCHA seedings, please remember
that these are current, i.e. heading into this weekend. Obviously,
Minnesota-Duluth can stake a strong claim to a #1/#2 seed if they win
the WCHA tournament. Also, I have to believe that Michigan will not
get the #1 seed if they lose at Joe Louis this weekend. I'll also
throw in an opinion --- if Miami and Michigan advance to the CCHA
championship game, it'll be tough for MN-Duluth to gain a #1/#2 seed
even if they win the WCHA tourney. (Yes, even if Michigan finishes
2nd in the regular season and playoffs I think they might get the #2
seed over Duluth finishing 1st and 1st.)
