This is a little bit dated coming from a 12/9 press release,
but I thought I'd send it out anyway.
"Carol Thomas '93 (York, Maine) had her second consecutive four-
goal game on Dec. 1, pacing Bowdoin to a 6-2 win over Wesleyan.
On Dec 6, however, Bowdoin ran into a red-hot Harvard team that
buried the Bears 12-1. In other news, head coach Lee Hunsaker
was named an assistant coach for the US National women's team,
which is preparing for the 1992 World Championships, scheduled
for April in Finland. Hunsaker is the goaltending coach for the
national team and also assisted head coach Russ McCurdy (currently
coach at the University of New Hampshire) in selecting the team
during tryouts."
Bowdoin's women's team is now 3-1 with their next game scheduled
for 1/18 at Yale.
