As everyone should know, Wayne discourages game updates because it
is a waste of bandwidth and it creates garbage for people who aren't
sitting next to their computer to wade through.
 
Rather than ask people to post to hockey-l, I suggest readers who
want updates to request that updates be sent to them privately,
rather than through the list. This would cut down considerably on
the traffic. It would only take one request. Others who want updates
can simply email to the poster (not the list) and ask if they can
forward the updates or get the address(es) of people who have said
they're willing to provide updates.
