If I remember correctly, the 1980 game is the one where a Minnesota goal was disallowed because it ended up behind the net. That would have involved a hole in the net (unthinkable by the ref) which I think later turned out to be true. Of course age could be warping my memory right now, that and the nasty cold I have. I was just happy and impressed to see that Minnesota made it that far that year with a head coach and so many players gone for the Olympics.
