I'll defend them. In addition to great hockey and mini-donuts, they're
something I look forward to seeing every year. Silly? Maybe to some,
but they sure beat the heck out of some other things passed off as
intermission entertainment.
Some teams have bands, others cheerleaders, some neither. It all adds
to the excitement at this time of year, in my opinion.
