I found this on the NCAA website. It shows the hockey division breakdown for
the past decade. And with at least 2 new Division III programs next year
(Lebanon Valley and Neumann, both in Pennsylvania) and a possible third
(Manhattanville in N.Y.), this would boost the total to past 130.
Year Div. I Div. II Div. III TOTAL
1997 52 (+1) 13 (-) 63 (+3) 128 (+4)
1996 51 (+1) 13 (-) 60 (+1) 124 (+2)
1995 50 (-) 13 (-) 59 (-) 122 (-)
1994 50 (-1) 13 (-) 59 (-) 122 (-1)
1993 51 (-1) 13 (+1) 59 (+1) 123 (+2)
1992 51 (+1) 12 (-2) 58 (-1) 121 (-2)
