I don't think anybody was implying that. I was just saying that although
players may know that being suspended for a non league game isn't as big
a deal as if they were kicked out of a critical league contest, they get
kicked out all the same. Both out of basic principle, and to prevent
non-league games from becoming sparring sessions. I don't think that
kicking players out of league games, that could be weeks away, would
prevent fights anyway. It just doesn't have the same effect. Still I do
understand your point, and even agree with it to a degree.
In other news....
The RPI team arrived at the Days Inn Hotel across from Harshman Quad in
BG at 2:05 p.m. Several players went to the McDonalds next door after
checking into their rooms. I was eating a late lunch which is why I know.
(BTW are happy meals on big at RPI?) :)
