A brief administrative message regarding trivia questions/contests and
HOCKEY-L...
There are no official restrictions per se upon the posting of trivia
questions/answers to HOCKEY-L, but here are a few suggestions that I
believe are worth following.
When posting trivia questions, please make sure to request that people send
all answers to you and not the list. That's better than having many
different people send the same response to HOCKEY-L. Also, if you have
several questions to ask, please try to put them all in one message.
And when someone posts a trivia question, again, please do not post your
reply to the list - send it to the person who posted the question. He or
she can then post the answers later on. Besides the repetitive nature of
the replies, this also allows others to make their own guesses at the
answers.
This will all help cut down on the amount of traffic on HOCKEY-L and make
it a more friendly place for everyone.
Thank you...
