A weekend of upsets and of rating changes. BU slip back to 3rd after the
loss against Providence, while a combination of disappointing Clarkson
losses and a DU split against Minnesota results in a switch of the 7th and
8th placed teams. Further down, Harvard's three-loss (including the Beanpot
consolation) weekend had them plummet 11 places out of the top 20, while at
the bottom, two Air Force wins, even though against Army, were enough to
move the Falcons up two places; Ohio State needed their win to hang on to
42nd.

KRACH ratings are on an odds scale. That is, if Maine, rated 458, plays
Minnesota, rated 211, on neutral ice, the estimated odds on a Maine win are
458/211=2.2 to 1 (or, the probability of a Maine win is estimated to be
458/(458+211)=0.68). Ratings are estimated by matching each team's number of
wins with the "expected" number, considering who that team has played; a
team can have a high rating by winning most of its games, or by playing
against strong opposition.
