One important note to start off....please respond via PRIVATE EMAIL.  I don't
want to add even heavier traffic to a list that's already reallly
hi-traffic to begin with.
 
Sorry to tie up list traffic, Wayne, but I figure that most of y'all have
delete keys if you find this totally meaningless.  As a list admin myself,
I know the fine line that must be walked, but I think this has some CH
content.
 
Enough of the formality...Ye who follow HE.  I am conducting an informal
poll on the shootout system for my `Face Off (you can't tell I'm a hockey
fan, eh?)' column in the IU newspaper.  Hey...it's about the only
hockey-related thing that is ever IN an Indiana newspaper :->.
 
I have posted my opinions to my IHL list, but I wanted a slightly more
diverse representation, so I thought I'd take my poll to HE fans, who
also have to put up with the shootout, and probably offset the number
of newer hockey fans that I have on my list with a slightly better
representation of the whole picture of hockey fans.
 
Obviously y'all are welcome to respond, not just HE fans, although I aimed
this at HE because they have to live with it more than the rest of us,
unless you also follow the IHL.  Whatevah, PLEASE RESPOND VIA PRIVATE
EMAIL...my address is in my .sig.  I don't want traffic on the list TOO
high.  Thanx in advance...ace.
 
BTW...once I finish the column (probably in mid-January), I will post.
