Haven't seen the WMEB poll posted yet, so here it goes:
On the basis of beating the 3 (next) best teams in the
CCHA in consecutive games, Michigan has overcome a slow
start to get to the top of the WMEB college hockey poll.
(Of course, having every team in the top 5 drop a game
this weekend didn't hurt ;-) ).
Here it is (sorry, the paper didn't print records):
Team Points Last
1. Michigan (11) 137 6
2. Boston U. (1) 111 2
3. Minnesota (1) 108 1
4. Michigan State (1) 103 4
5. Colorado College 102 3
6. Northeastern 79 5
7. Maine (1) 67 9
8. Vermont 38 8
9. Harvard 27 7
10. Bowling Green 16 10
Others receiving votes: Lake Superior 11, Wisconsin 9,
Brown 8, New Hampshire 3, Northern Michigan 2, Clarkson 1,
Mass-Lowell 1, Providence 1, RPI 1
