The St. Francis Xavier hockey team wound up their exhibition game tour
this afternoon by edging Brown, 5-4, in a hard-fought match at Meehan
Auditiorium. St. Francis scored the winning goal against the Bears with
25 seconds left in regulation after having nipped the Yale Bulldogs,
3-2, in New Haven last night. The X-Men thereby swept their Ivy rivals
and headed back to Nova Scotia with a satsfying weekend behind them.
I don't have any details about the exhibition game at Ingalls Rink in
New Haven, but here are the basic stats on today's game at Meehan:
