To say only that students were away on break does not answer the question.
This exchange (and a limited number of others earlier) left out any
explanation of why, even with students on break, few other supporters of BU
attended the games. Or, perhaps, they were there dressed as empty seats ?
BU non-student fans -- why did you fail to support your team, especially on
the Sunday series finale ?

No team should expect a sell-out when students are away, but most schools
will fill the seats with other supporters usually shut out otherwise during
the season. And then consider this Sunday was the clincher of a playoff
series !!

And don't use "it was on TV" as an excuse, either.

Finally, it was nice to watch games from BU without having to listen to the
homers from Channel 68. Thank of the explosion of hockey coverage on TV in
the last five years or so, and think -- why can't Eruzione get a TV hockey
color man job other than at the TV station owned by his "regular" employer ?
