Just a little response to Brian Morris about the breakdown by SLU's D - In
most of the situations it really wasn't the "D" so-to-speak that broke
down...Starting at the Union game, SLU must have decided to go "all
offense" to spark a change...therefore, on all PP's, the team skated 5
forwards and no defense...they did this as well at RPI...in most situations
John Poapst was on the ice for these (SLU's #1 defenseman) but he has been
converted to a forward now and really only plays defense on the PK...so my
point? I was not surprised by the breakdown and resulting SHG, there was
really no one there to play the defensive role hehehe...but you are right
in saying that the SHG were the team's fault and there was nothing
Symington could do about them...I don't think this was the case on the 3 PP
goals scored however...there was little the defense could do with the
terrible rebounds that were given up...

Also, one last point;) I really don't see how Difrancesco could win any
season award this year...unless he keeps scoring at 4 pts/game for the last
6 hehehe;) He only has 26 points this season and that is not at a level
anywhere near award winning...and really, if only D I games were counted,
he only has 20 points...he did play *wonderfully* this weekend however and
maybe he can heat it back up and surprise us all!!
