I would say yes if hockey-l was strictly out there to provide scores and
stats.  Although that may be an integral part of hockey-l, it is not the
main reason why I (and I am assuming others as well) use this resource.
I enjoy reading posts from people who are not professional journalists
(hmmm...check out some of my past gems for examples) but would still like
their voice heard.  It is also a great way to find out information from
others in the community.
