I saw a clarification posted about Colgate's aid/scholarship
situation so I guess I better post about SLU's as well.  SLU
has never had hockey scholarships, but by policy does give preferential
financial aid.  Hockey scholarships are just now being adopted by
SLU and thus, this cannot be used in an argument of why Union is
"out-gunned."  I feel bad that Deventhal was dumped by Union, but
there must be more reason for Union's poor showing, as Colgate and
SLU have done well with the same (or worse) recruiting disadvantages...
