I don't know how many people read what probably was used as a filler in
most newspapers on Thursday, but the company that makes M&M candy
announced that "blue" was the overwhelming choice to replace "tan" as
one of the colors used for M&Ms. (The change will start in
September.) Well, when I read this yesterday, I figured that the
combination of blue and M&M indicated that Michigan was going to win
yesterday's first game. Then I arrived home during the third period
of the game to find out that one of Maine's colors is also
blue. (Now, I am partially colorblind, so if it turns out that what I
think is blue is actually purple, this won't make much sense.) So the
omen must mean that Maine will beat BU.
Please note that I will be rooting for a fellow red and white team
even though I sort of have a family obligation to root for teams with
a nickname containing "bear".
