Hi everyone,
I'm back in Baltimore after my trip home to Maine. While home, in place of
the
alumni game, my parents and I went to see the New England Stingers roller
hockey game vs. the Atlanta Fire Ants. I realize that there is another
place to talk about roller hockey. Three players for the Stingers
were former Maine players, as
well as the assistant coach used to be at Maine. (Clark) The Stingers
lost 9-8. Vince Guidotti '89 (D) had an assist. Mario Thyer '89 (F) had a
goal and
three (may have been four, I lost count) and was named third star. Cal
Ingraham '94 (F) had four goals and three assists and was named the first
star of the game.
According to the stats posted in the arena and in the program, Mario
Thyer leads the team in points and Cal leads the team in goals.
Sorry this wasn't totally related to college ice hockey but I just thought
I'd let those of you who are interested in Maine alumni know that the
three that I saw play saturday night seemed to be doing very well (even
though their team is not).
I guess I'll have to wait til next year to see how the rest of the guys
are doing. If any one has any info on how they are doing and where they
are I'd be greatful.
Thanks,
sarah.
