Gretzky signed a contract that allows him to decide when he retires. There
is no annual deadline to his current contract. I believe he makes $5
million/year to play as long as he wants to remain a New York Ranger.
 
Just to correct...
 
I also hear that Kariya may come to terms within the next two weeks. Any of
you hockey gurus (IE- Deron/DT) wanna comment on this?
