Pasta Night at the Prices'
                                               is now official! (-:
 
I got the word from Jeannie in the Hockey Office the other day that Pasta
Night at the Prices' is on! (-: As most of you know the first road trip takes
the team to my home state (Minnesota) to play the Minnesota Golden Gophers on
October 17 and 18!
 
What you may not know is that I asked Coach Walsh back in January when I
became aware of the Maine/Minnesota series if the entire team could have a
pre-game meal at our house. The reason for this being, I am the mother of
Jason Price, #22, defenseman, Umaine Black Bear!!!!
 
The head count for dinner will be 23 including one assistant coach, not
including  local trainers and high school coaches who have been instrumental
in Jason's development.
 
The menu will be lasagna, pizza, meatballs, salad, garlic bread, frozen
yogurt and
cookies. I'm going to let you all know later how much got devoured! (-:
 
The team will arrive here in Minneapolis around 4:30 pm, drive straight to
Mariucci (Gopher home ice) and then practice at 6:30pm. Dinner will be at our
house in Eden Prairie, a 20 minute drive from the University of Minnesota at
8:30 pm.
 
I have a few surprises yet under my hat which will be revealed to you all on
Pasta Night!!
 
This has been a greatly anticipated event and even more important to me
because it will be the first time I will see the team and my son play.
 
For me it's obviously a special year; for the Black Bears, who are regarded
as a top contender it's on to the Fleet!!!!!! (-:
