Subject: Re: Sabo will play
unfortunately, although I really hate BU (on the ice) i think it goes way
too far to do that kind of namecalling. Sabo is an ass on the ice... he has
a Napoleon complex and needs a spanking. But in our legal system, please
let's not assume his guilt, he will be tried. I can tell you from personal
expersince that our Black Bears could have been found guilty of many
felonies (Which I witnessed) and violation of many school policies (which I
witnessed) and more than only Tomberlin? (no it was not tomberlin... it was
a guy whose brother was pretty damn good... is all i can remember) could
have been thrown out for many reasons... let';s not throw stones, let's
cheer our guys on...
and I sure hope that the kids in the stande at teh Alfond will not have any
signs or cheers regarding Sabo's arrest, that too would be crossing a line.
it has nothing to do with hockey.... a sign referencing the BU goalie
propensity to pretent to be assasinated and not get up after a tiny
collision would be appropriate... or a sign referncing Parker's inability to
control himself in a sportsmanlike way wourd also be appropriate, but let's
let the criminal investigation tke care of itself, he is not guilty... and
he is not a felon...yet.
and no law prevent anyone from doing anything... it merely punishes once
that thing is done. (If you want a comparison of maine law versus mass law,
just ask.... maine has some pretty interesting law too)
