We are National Champs, yet there were several teams that *might* have
been champs last year with just a bounce or two here and there.
 
Last year I thought we had the *potential* to come out on top (check the
archives :)), but a lot had to go right .. the team had to come together.
 
I think we're in a similar situation this year and with less game
experience in goal.  We can hope to be healthy, for the coaching staff
to encourage players beyond their current effort and abilities, and for
us fans to excite everyone and bring pride to the program ...
 
With our 1st opponent also looking for an NCAA appearance and possibly a
top-4 ranking, our 1st two games will be important for confidence and
final NCAA ranking.
 
To continue from what I've hear of the B/W scrimmage play, we'll be
lucky to get HEA home ice in the 1st round, let alone an NCAA bid.
 
WTS' prediction: 2nd in HEA, 6th-7th place ranking in NCAAs.
