Interesting. You're right on, though, John. This year's Great Alaska
Shootout netted (pun intended) over $750,000 to the UAA Athletics
Department. And neither Alaska school even hosts a hockey tourney these
days, although UAF will host it's version of the Shootout a week prior to
UAA's tourney beginning next year... What's the world coming to?
