other bands(or at pro games), I have yet to hear Wagner, Santana, even
John Williams for that matter

Harvard actually plays a snippet of Wagner as one of their quickie pieces.
Note this is the ultimate demonstration of Mark Twain's statement "Wagner's
music is better than it sounds."

As far as "One Note" Williams being absent from the list of standards,
could the reason possibly be... because it's crap?

(Actually, that's not the reason, considering Cornell played "We Got the
Beat" until a few years ago... :-)

Speaking of bands playing goofy songs, I really liked some of the stuff the
BU band played. Maybe it was my imagination, but I could have sworn they
played "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne at last year's Frozen Four, and I
thought I heard them play this year too. Was that my imagination, or did I
really hear that :)
