The Michigan State Spartan icers posted a 7-2 victory over Western
Ontario on Saturday night - Homecoming at MSU.  The Spartans were led by
Steve Ferranti (Sr., right wing) who scored his first hat trick.  The
Spartans sent 53 shots on three Western Ontario goalies while Western
Ontario managed only 16 shots on Chad Alban. The Spartans were a little
sluggish at the start of the game but things picked up, as you can see.
