Okay, I haven't seen this [harebrained ;-)] idea yet. Maybe we should
consider giving up *some* treasured 4 game rivalries (dropping them down to 2
game/season rivalries) in the long term interest of a more rational league
set-up.
Split the WCHA and CCHA into 3 leagues, but with room in the schedules for
considerable cross-over to maintain old rivalries.
WCHA: UAF, UAA, North Dakota, CC, Denver, UM, UMD, and SCSU
WCCHA: All Wisconsin and Michigan schools
ECCHA: All other CCHA schools
Now that I look at this, I have to say, Yuch! But what the hey - maybe it'll
inspire some other good idea.
