Just to add my 2 cents from a non-UND/UMN person... For purely selfish
motives, I'd love to see Crowley stay for one more year. He's a lot of fun
to watch, and a legitimate Hobey contender. Partisan feelings aside, he's
good for college hockey, and I can definitely see it being tough for him to
turn down one more year with a strong gopher team, even if it is for a tidy
sum of money.
Of course, the decision is personal -- what he decides, he decides. It's
hard to argue against taking a large sum of money _or_ wanting to get his
degree now and play what should be an outstanding year as a star at the U.
Other hockey-related comment: In a week and a half, I move from Cheeseland
to Rochester, NY. Nice to know that they're starting a fifth div. I league
in the upstate NY area just to keep me and my fiancee happy. :-)
(On the subject of NY hockey, just how hard would it be for a general
member of the public in Rochester to get tickets to a Cornell hockey game?
How about the Harvard-Cornell hockey game? Do I stand a chance?)
