Not that I have any ties to Miami, but my favorite is the Red Hawks.
In fact, RPI has a red hawk mascot which many fans would love to
give you :-). Sorry, but it looks like a big red chicken. And, your CCHA
opponents can also steal our mascot insults, like KFC, sacrifice
the chicken, peckerhead, etc. Then, the guy who walked around at
the Freakout dressed up as the RPI Puckman can become our new mascot! He
did more to get the RPI fans going than the chicken has in two whole
seasons. Go Red Hawks!
 
Why do nickname changes almost always end up for the worse?
