I agree.  Cronin was always "interim", always having to look over his
shoulder at Walsh, even if he physically wasn't there.

I'm not sure if I'd predict Maine over BU, but I would agree that they do
have a shot.  It will be a matter of playing good defense against Drury and
his line.  They have really burned Hockey East teams.
 
Maine will also need to score some goals, because BU is going to get theirs.
It will take a superior performance from Alfie though.

Actually, Maine's fourth line is Jason Vitorino, Ben Guite and Cory Larose.
Maine's third line is Bobby Stewart, Shawn Mansoff, and Scott Parmentier..
a.k.a the "speed line".
 
Walsh has said that he doesn't feel that he has a fourth line, just four
good lines.  He has said publically that this year's fourth line is better
than his fourth line from 1992-93 season.  That's a compliment.
