Here's a blurb from Sports Wrap on former Maine goalie Garth Snow:

FLYERS UNLOAD 55 SHOTS IN 4-1 DEFEAT OF COYOTES

As Garth Snow stood in his own crease, watching the sniping at
the other end and waiting, and waiting, and waiting for a shot to
come in his direction, he had to feel sorry for Nikolai
Khabibulin. Snow faced just 18 shots, stopping 17 of them, to
extend his personal unbeaten streak to eight games as the
Philadelphia Flyers topped the Phoenix Coyotes, 4-1. Meanwhile,
Philadelphia peppered Khabibulin with a season-high 55 shots,
including 23 in the second period. Khabibulin tied a career-high
with 51 saves for Phoenix, which has lost four of six. Snow held
Phoenix scoreless over the first two periods, stopping all 11
shots he faced, before Bob Corkum's goal with 3:56 remaining
spoiled the shutout. Snow improved to 5-0-3 in his last eight
decisions. Shjon Podein scored twice and Janne Niinimaa and Eric
Lindros added goals for Philadelphia, which snapped a three-game
winless streak.
