My latest Hockey East feature is now available on U.S. College Hockey Online.
"No Dumb Jocks" looks at Dan Shermerhorn, UMass-Lowell's Craig Lindsay, and
Merrimack's Rob Beck and Tom Johnson.  They are the league's Distinguished
Scholar candidates this year.
 
I suspect that most who read the piece will have a better appreciation for
how difficult it is to excel at both academics and Division I hockey.  I
certainly came away from the article with great respect for Shermerhorn.
