I was covering the game for USCHO and I'd have to disagree.  The direction
from the Maine bench to the locker rooms is a diagonal one across the ice
to a corner at one end.  Walsh made a beeline on that diagonal, giving the
"number one" sign to the Maine fans at that end of the ice.  Parker would
have had to tackle Walsh to realistically make him "available."
 
Parker was not a no-show.  I looked back at Parker when I saw Walsh halfway
on the diagonal and he was standing by the BU door.
