As an outside observer, I don't like to see things like this happen.
Hockey etiquette is such that when all is said and done, you shake hands -
unless there is a very good reason not to, and I don't see yet that there
was one here. It does not have to be a gesture of friendship and it really
doesn't matter if the two coaches don't like each other, IMO.
Just imagine how the Maine folks would feel if other coaches refused to
shake Shawn's hand. I am sure that there would be an outcry.
I like Shawn Walsh, but I don't like that this happened.
