does anyone remember how many assists Michel Leveille
had before he scored his first college goal? I
remember he still had no goals when he had the puck
down here in North Andover in the Merrimack crease
with a completely open net, TWICE, once he shot wide
and the other time, he broke his stick and clanged the
puck off the post. I laughed at the thought that he
was just not meant to score goals...

At the time, he had something like 21 or 27 assists
and NO goals (he always looked to pass to Colin
Shields)...
well the odd thing is, right now Michel has scored 7
professional goals for the Toronto Marlies and he has
not recorded a single assist. %goals this season and
2 goals last season.
(With 5 goals, Michel is currently 18th in the league
in goal scoring, and the leader has 8,)

Teddy Purcell, if you remember him fondly, read on,
the rest of you who think that he was not playing for
Maine as much as counting his cash can stop...
Teddy is currently 4th in scoring in the AHL, and
tonight, in a 2-1 win against Greg Moore's Wolfpack,
Greg scored his team;s lone goal while Teddy scored a
goal and assisted on the other goal... last time they
played, they both had 2 goals, but Teddy also scored
in the shootout to win, right after Greg missed his
shootout attempt.
